Bulmeka Contracting
Bulmeka Contracting is a locally owned, Indigenous-run fencing company based in Darwin, proudly servicing commercial and residential projects across the Northern Territory.
With over 10 years of fencing knowledge behind us, we handle the full process from design to install. Every job is built Territory tough, finished to a high standard, and made to last. Whether it’s a rural block in Humpty Doo, a home in Palmerston, or a large-scale commercial site in Winnellie, we’ve got the crew, the gear, and the know-how to get it done right.
Our Name
The name Bulmeka comes from the Yanyuwa people of Borroloola, where Brandon’s grandfather, Sidney Rusca, was born. “Bulmeka” was his skin name, the name he was known by in community.
Brandon was given the same skin name as his grandfather, and when it came time to start the business, he and Dane chose to carry it forward. The name represents more than just a connection to culture. It stands for strength, legacy, and building something that lasts.
Today, Bulmeka is known across the Territory for fences that are built strong, finished properly, and backed by a crew that shows up and gets the job done.
